Dr. Griffin joined ECU PA as a member of the didactic faculty in 2022. She is a lifelong resident of Eastern NC and graduated with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from East Carolina. Her clinical experience is in Gastroenterology and she is passionate about effective communication and fostering the provider-patient relationship.

Coming from a rural community herself, Dr. Griffin finds inspiration in ECU PA’s mission to increase access to care in medically underserved communities. She thoroughly enjoys working with students and seeing their growth as they build their clinical skills throughout the program and become practicing PAs.

She serves as the department’s Coordinator of Data Analysis and is also on the Admissions team as well as the College of Allied Health’s Interprofessional Education Task Force. In her free time you can find her reading or spending time with her loved ones.
