Ms. Eaves is proud to serve at her alma mater, continuing her commitment to educating future Pirate PAs. She has clinical experience in Cardiology, outpatient Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, and currently works in Emergency Medicine at ECU Health Medical Centers in Greenville and Tarboro, NC. Additionally, she practices at ECU Health Family Medicine Pinetops, providing care in their evening urgent care clinic. Passionate about delivering quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care, Ms. Eaves aims to instill this same passion in her students.
As a member of the didactic faculty, she teaches in the Clinical Medicine and Emergency Medicine courses and contributes to various labs and activities. Recognizing that both medicine and medical education are continually evolving, Ms. Eaves strives to provide up-to-date content and incorporates various teaching methods, including case-based learning, simulation, and interprofessional experiences. She values her roles as a mentor and student advocate, finding great joy in her students’ successes.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Eaves serves as the Director of Admissions, where she is dedicated to ensuring a fair and thoughtful selection process for ECU PA students. She has a deep commitment to Pirate Nation and the Eastern North Carolina community.
